Step 1
To qualify for your Indiana real estate license, you must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. These basic requirements ensure you’re eligible to move forward with your pre-licensing education

Step 3
Before you can take the state exam, you’ll need to get fingerprinted and pass a background check through the Indiana State Police. This step is required to confirm you’re eligible for licensure and can take 1–2 weeks to process.
Step 4
After finishing your coursework and background check, you’ll schedule your exam through PSI. The test covers both national and Indiana-specific real estate knowledge, and you’ll need a passing score on both sections to move forward.
